One of the most important things one can do support John Muir and the Berkeley Public Schools, is donate. This funds the many programs John Muir offers its students, including teacher grants, P.E. and dance instruction, Back-to-School Night, and after-school enrichment classes such as chess, ceramics, and science. PTA funding also helps our Grizzlies Resource Room assist families in need with material support.
John Muir Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) Organization, Tax ID 94-3063895.

Outdoor School
Mosaic outdoor school is one of the important and anticipated parts of the 5th-grade learning experience at John Muir Elementary. Camp Maymac in Felton, California will host our 5th- grade students either September 18-22 (Mejia-Smith) or October 16-20 (Kim) for a 5 day/4 night experience at beautiful Camp Maymac. We are still awaiting final school board approval, which we anticipate on August 23rd, but we wanted to give you as much notice as possible.
Pay your child's tuition or support scholarships for other students.
